IMPORTANT FIELD TRIP INFORMATION:
Animal Adaptations: Permission slips & $3.50 are past due.
Battleship & Masonboro Island (Wilmington) - permission slip due 3/5/16 & $76 by 3/15/16
Symphony - permission slip & $3.50 due 4/5/16
All field trip medications (suntan lotion, bug spray, allergy medicine) must be signed into the office from 9 AM – 4:30 PM beginning March 14th until March 18th.
PARENTS must bring in the medication along with the signed 1702 form from the doctor and sign it in at the office, not the students. Any medication brought by a student will be returned. NO medications will be accepted after March 18th except for DAILY medications (Focalin, Ritalin, etc.). These medications may be signed in until April 4th.
Parents that are going on the field trip DO NOT need to sign medication into the school.
ALL medications that are currently signed into the school will be taken on the field trip with the teachers. If you have any questions/concerns please call Karen or Elaine at 919-562-6262.

Tuesday, March 1— Oh The Places You’ll Go! Wear a t-shirt of a fun place you’ve been or dress up as what you want to be when you grow up!
Wednesday March 2—Happy Birthday, Dr. Seuss!
Wacky Wednesday—wear your clothes inside out, backward or a wacky tacky outfit. FYI - students will be painting with acrylic paint today.
Thursday March 3— Dr. Seuss Book Character Day: Dress up as your favorite Dr. Seuss character or wear the colors of Cat in the Hat (black, red and white)
Friday, March 4--4th grade only-- we will be celebrating Read Across America & Fabulous Fourth. Please have your child wear pjs & bring a flashlight, pillow, blanket and books to read. We will making forts and reading to self.
Math Homework
We are sending home a past Area and Perimeter test for students to correct.
We are also sending a Week 24 HW sheet.

ELA Homework
Students will be reading their book club books this week and working on vocabulary and sticky notes, but will not have reading responses to complete.
Reading: Read 20 minutes daily
POW: No POW next week!
Achieve 3000: Students are required to pass 2 more activities scoring 75% or higher. Achieve homework must be completed by THURSDAY evenings by 10:00 pm.
**Pasta for Pennies STARTS NEXT WEEK! Please bring in spare change or donate online to support the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. It runs 2/29-3/11. Class with the most $$$ wins an Olive Garden lunch!
