POW: No POW next week! Enjoy your Thanksgiving
Achieve 3000: Complete 2 activities at 75% or better. Remember the class with the most students who have completed the most activities wins a $30 gift card for the party of their choice. Their username and password is WCP, followed by their lunch number with no spaces (ex: wcp11111). www.achieve3000.com Students should have completed 6 Achieve 3000 articles by today. They need to complete 8 by 12/1.
Supplies. Please do a supply check with your child. Many students are running out of pencils and erasers. Thanks so much.
BYOD Update. The students created their blogs this week on KidBlog. This is where they will do their reading responses. Parents, you can log on with your child and see their work and the comments they leave for their classmate’s work. In addition to teacher assigned topics, students can blog about any school appropriate topic they would like. This is their chance to truly be authors.
Many of the students did their POW online in google classroom this week. We are working on giving feedback and returning these to the students. Students are encouraged (but not required) to read the feedback, improve their writing, and resubmit their responses.
If you would like to learn more about BYOD at our school and/or sign up to receive our BYOD newsletter, visit www.fpdesbyod.weebly.com.
